Some Doug TenNapel news!
Doug’s new book Ghostopolis will be published by Scholastic this year, and is available for pre-order on Amazon.
I helped as a colourist on that one. It was wonderful to be a part of that. I can safely say that it has been worth the wait to finally see it published this year. I hope that you check it out.

Doug will also be attending the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo this April. So if you’re in Canada, you may want to drop by and say hello.

Finally a great guy called Ethan Nicolle has created a very funny comic with his brother called Axe Cop…this is not Earthworm Jim related, but Eef is a friend…and it’s too awesome not to mention.

I’m going to get back to the drawing board now that I have some time again. Hopefully I’ll have something arty to show you next update.

I’ve got a little preview of what I’m working on. It’s a work in progress at the moment…I don’t know how long it will take to get the first page up…I’m doing it in the hours when I’m not working on something else, so it’s on limited time.

I’ve never done a comic before, so this could either fly or fall. I’ve been wanting to do it since the site was re named to Rocket Worm though…so I’m giving it a go.

By the way, if your comment doesn’t get through on this blog, it’s probably the spam filter. Sorry about that.

The Underwater hamster layout (default & latest one) has been updated a bit. There’s a twitter bird to the right…I gave him a snorkel.

Of course there are three older layouts…I feel they are getting on a bit, but those have been fixed in places too.

I’d love to do a Circus of the Scars theme…if only there was more time.

The About section has been updated.

I finally figured out how to integrate the gallery with the site – I did a geeky little victory dance after figuring that out… (Not really) so my fan art gallery and the Media Gallery which has been moved into the Information and History section has been overhauled. Now people don’t have to go through pages and pages to look at these things, but I can still update it easily.

I’ll get the guest art gallery section back in the interactive section…it all works under the hood, but I need to explain how it works. I’m still waiting for the next version of the Oekaki BBS program for the drawing board. That will also make a return eventually.

There’s a brilliant site called Rev.iew.me – people have been so helpful there. So I’ve taken advice and tried to improve things a bit. I still have a few more things to do.

This is the Megadrive version apparently…I don’t know much more than that…my own Wii has yet to be unearthed from it’s dusty slumber under the Telly downstairs.

Fairly self explanatory. Still hoping more will happen to Earthworm Jim than re-releases…but have fun if you get it.

I made a few of them transparent, but kept the originals he made there with the purple backgrounds – something to do with it affecting the quality…I don’t notice it. perhaps you need to be a ninja to notice that stuff.
