I’ve blogged about Tommy Tallarico’s Video Games Live quite a bit in the past, and supported the Kickstarters on it, so this is something I really want to share.
As many of you know, (and if you didn’t, now you know!) Tommy Tallarico made the fantastic music for the original Earthworm Jim 1 & 2 games – and has worked on many other video game scores since. He is also pretty groovy with an electric guitar – (Personally, I love electric guitar music. Anyone who can play a good riff, and I’m sold. I blame it on seeing things like Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Waynes World, and being a long time Queen fan.)
Anyhow, the documentary for Level 5 has been made available to watch on Youtube now, so if you are interested in video game music and the way it affects us as we play games, this is something you might like to watch. The collaboration and passion that goes into these albums is fascinating.1
