Earthworm Jim Movie Deal

Doug TenNapel has signed a deal with Interplay, that will go towards injecting some much needed life back into the franchise.

"Interplay Entertainment Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: IPLY) announced today that the company signed a partnership arrangement with Earthworm Jim creator Douglas TenNapel to relaunch the videogame icon.

TenNapel will serve as a creative consultant on Earthworm Jim 4, and will simultaneously develop an animated series and feature film to expand the well known brand."

Earthworm Jim 1 and 2 for Wii virtual Console

Interplay announced yesterday, that Earthworm Jim 1 and 2 are to be released for the Wii virtual Console.

This means that people will be able to play the originals again. I'll keep an eye open for further developments to this story.

Updated EWJ Links, Timeline and the Oekaki BBS. The Oekaki Board isn't used very much at the moment, and for some reason isn't working great in Firefox. Hopefully the problem will be sorted eventually.

Great news with the EWJ fan game project, Eat Dirt! Zak and Malvado have been busy making an online fan game, and it's looking pretty nice so far. emo_smile

In other news, Doug TenNapel's latest Graphic Novel Monster Zoo is available for pre-order at both Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com. It's been picked up for a movie by Sam Raimi! emo_cool
